Saint Patrick’s Day is a public holiday in the Republic of Ireland. He is the patron of Ireland and on 17^th March

 Irish people celebrate St. Patrick not only in Ireland, but in all the countries where a lot of Irish people live. In this day there is a big parade with marching, decorated lorries and bagpipes. “Guinness”,

 dark beer ,is a famous Irish drink. People wear green dresses and paint their faces green because green is a lucky colour.
